In Gibraltar we use pound GBP but we also accept Euros and Dollars, the price of the tour paid in Euros or Dollars will depend on that days exchange rate.
We can always stop at an ATM Machine in case someone needs to withdraw cash.
A Rock Tour ensures you have a professional local qualified tour guide, with a luxury Mercedes vehicle with aircon to help show you the sights and history of Gibraltar in comfort. The tourist attractions are quite far in distance with some steep walks, so to see the attractions it's best to have a vehicle (particularly during summer). It also includes custom pickup and dropoff services to make your travel plans easier.
The cable car is a way to visit the top of The Rock, but there are often long queues which can be uncomfortable in summer with the heat, and also the running of the cable car depends on the weather. However if you plan on spending some hours walking around The Rock between sights, the cable car is a valid option and you can enjoy some stunning views from the ride up.
For any hikers, you can also purchase tickets for the Nature Reserve online and walk up and see the attractions by yourself. Be sure to prepare accordingly with water and suncream!
To avoid border queues and traffic, it’s recommended to park on the Spanish side in La Linea de la Concepcion. There are several car parks available, including one directly opposite the border near McDonald's and Burger King (called Focona).
All of our drivers are bilingual in both English and Spanish. Our vehicles are also equipped with a multimedia system offering the tour in French, German, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Czech.
