Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory located on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. Its iconic Rock of Gibraltar is a major landmark and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

Rich History

Gibraltar has a rich history, dating all the way back to the Neanderthals through to Ancient Greece, Roman times, 18th Century ship battles and even World War II! It has been strategically important throughout history and has been ruled by various powers, including the Moors, Spanish, and British.

Visit the Famous Gibraltar Attractions

The Rock itself is a major attraction. Visitors can take a cable car ride to the top, where they can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area and even see across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa on a clear day.

The easiest way to see the attractions in Gibraltar, especially the caves, monkeys, views from the top, tunnels and castle - is by booking your own private tour. This way you can enjoy a Gibraltarian official tour guide to explain the history of Gibraltar, to drive you to all of the sites (to avoid lots of difficult uphill walking) - all with a luxury vehicle with air conditioning in comfort and style.

Gibraltar is home to a unique population of Barbary macaques, the only wild monkeys in Europe. Visitors can see these fascinating creatures up close in their natural habitat. Tour guides are particularly experienced in ensuring your interaction with the monkeys is a safe one for a special photo opportunity.

Gibraltar is also a popular destination for duty-free shopping, with a wide range of goods available at lower prices compared to neighboring Spain.
